How awful for you both mercury. Unfortunately it's the people who abuse the system who make it hard for those who need it.  :(

I noticed at Bristol airport that children's pushchair looking trollies that could fit it 2 children and wheelchairs were placed every so often along the long walk back to passport control, thought this was a great idea that other airports should use, never seen them in Birmingham airport.

Similarly with Motability cars. There has been so much abuse of the system in the past and, now that they're cracking down on it, it makes it very difficult even for those that need a car to qualify.
