Anyone know if there is going to be a repeat of last year's Remembrance Service at the Grape Garden this year?

Posted on behalf of Dave Cunnington;

Hi all. There will be a remembrance day gathering on Sunday the 10th November. It will be held in the Grape garden restaurant, down the side street opposite the Mosque, in Uzumlu.it will take the same format as last year. !2 noon for 1pm, keeping in time with the UK. Mehmet's TV will be hooked up to BBC1, so events at the cenotaph can followed. Mehmet will lay on basic food at a small cost. Poppies are available from myself or Rose leading up to, and on the day of remembrance.
Unfortunately I will not be able to attend. Rose and our friends Mike and Jan will set things up and Mike will stand in for me and say a few words following the two minute silence.
Dave

Just like to say thank you to Rose and Dave for organising this event again this year.   Another well attended occasion by the ex-pats in Uzumlu.
