:)If any of you have taken your pets over with you such as a cat - what do you feed it on in Turkey? :D My cat eats mainly tinned food can you still get that over there from Migros or have you had to change your pet's diet? I hear lambs intestines are very popular :D

Tinned cat (and dog) food in available in Migros, Gima and Star Market, and probably in all the other shops like Bim and Tansas.   Dry food and biscuits also available.

Tinned cat food I noticed last year was far more expensive
in turkey and not easy to find, other than in large supermarkets
Turkish cats i met seemed to live on bread wouldnt suit my 4
fussy beasts

Kent Vets opposite Migros sells cat and dog biscuits at a much reduced price to those in Migros.

Migros sell packs of small fish fillets called Hamsi Fileto and Sardalya Fileto in the freezer section which are ideal for cats. The fillets take about 30 seconds to defrost in a microwave oven.

Pedigree is also available but our dogs didn't eat tinned food, i used to feed them fresh food, such as bread, chicken - well any kind of meat! Salad, fish.. the lot!!

Plenty of Tuna there, if your cats are anything like ours they would live on Tuna.

Bim. just spotted your question, quite a complicated procedure, we are getting one of our cats ready for Turkey.
The person you need to speak to is your vet, He/She should have all the info, also DEFRA, have a look at there website, there are companies that do it all for you,WEB SEARCH,but they are expensive.
