Found a Glasgow Dalaman flight on-line for my son and his girlfriend at the weekend.
I rang to confirm, as the last three flights I found where sold out.
I was told I could book so went ahead to do so. Then was informed it would be an extra £15.00 each to pick up tickets at the airport!! Then 2% to use a credit card and even 1% extra for a debit card. The Company told me that it's very common practice to charge for ticket pick up at the airport. I have never heard of this, has anyone else?
The Company are called Traveldeals4less.co.uk. based in Manchester. The girl I spoke to informed me that they have 10 years experience in the travel business and are actually owned by the Co-op. Times have changed for the old Co-op since they were started to help working class people by giving out the divi, seems they have jumped on the "grab all" commercial gravy train as well.
