onur air cancelled flight
« on: March 06, 2008, 14:54:31 PM »
Hi everyone, just need to have a moan about our cancelled flight.
we booked through Goldtrail (as usual) from Glasgow to Dalaman on 23rd March, and they,ve just changed the flight to Bodrum. The same happened to us last April, but fortunately we got seats on an alternative flight from Newcastle. This time there is no alternative. Does this happen a lot on Glasgow flights out of season?
As the thought of travelling on a bus for 3 to 4 hours with 3 teenagers makes me want to jump off the Forth Road bridge, we are going to pay for our own taxi.
I have noticed that flythomascook.com now do regular flights from Newcastle out of season, and the prices are very reasonable. I will definitely use them next time, rather than Onurair. As far as I know, you still get fed when flying with Thomas Cook!!
Can anyone tell me what Bodrum airport is like for prices, or will I take a packed lunch when we go back?!
I feel better for having a moan. Thanks. Christine.
