Thomas Cook api not req'd

Just booked 31/1/17 Mch/Ant with T.C and noticed when trying to add API they appear to say that this selected route does not require API ?
although my three previous trips (Monarch Lds/Dlm)earlier this year did?

recently booked our trip to Tenerife through Thomas Cook and they confirmed no API required any more ..  :) Howard and Marie

    According to Thomas Cook's website API is only a requirement for travel to the following countries:-
    United States of America
    Mexico
    Cuba
    Jamaica
    South Africa
    Canada
    Thailand
    Puerto Rico
    Cape Verde (no later than 10 days before travel)

When you do the on line check in they ask for your api then
