Well each to their own Des and freedom of choice etc but I'd rather have two at 10 lira each somewhere nice than one at 20 YTL at Sat, that's for sure...

Agreed Keith - and the Efes was 8 or 9 I think (I was in shock from seeing the G&T price).

As I said - won't be rushing back.

I have to say that I've always enjoyed Sat - if mainly for the ambiance, but the food has been fine.  However, we met some friends last time - early November-  and had lunch there.  Very simple, just halloumi salad, a couple of mushroom omelettes and something I've forgotten!  Fine - but overnight my partner felt very unwell and this lasted all the next day: very annoying as we were leaving in the evening and I had to shut the house up for the winter all on my own!  The only possible thing we could put this down to was his lunch (the omelette)!

Puts me off going back far more than the prices!

We have loads of omelettes at the Sat Wendy and never had a problem maybe you were just unlucky that day?

It may not necessarily have been the omelette, it could be loads of reasons, a dirty knife/kitchen utensil or a not quite clean glass which had germs on. I read that often it's from busy staff who haven't washed their hands properly.

I agree with you both - but it seemed certain tat it was as a result of the Sat anyway! Somewhat off-putting for me in the future...
