Shipment of goods to the UK

Hi
Any advice on a trustworthy shipper of goods to Edinburgh . Probably two large suitcases worth a very large picture

If it is just two suitcases and a large picture would it be very expensive to just book it on a flight as luggage?

If you don't have any plans to go back to the UK at the mom, could you find a friend to store them for you in the meantime?
