A book called Impossible Fairies has been translated into English and is on sale. The proceeds will be used to help an education programme for girls in Turkey. It features the life stories of the most successful girls who are helped by a scheme run by Metro to educate women. It is for sale at Real,Metro and D&R stores. I wonder if book shops in Fethiye will stock it in time or if it can be ordered in.

At the moment a Turkish friend who lives in Istanbul and also Ovacik brings us books from shops which sell English language books in Istanbul. I am surprised that no bookshops here are stocking what would probably be a profit making item for them.Maybe I am wrong and there is a shop that does. Can English books be ordered in any of the bookshops here does anyone know?

I see that Dan Browns new "Lost Symbol" is being translated into Turkish and he is researching a book in Turkey.
