turkish restaurant

Hi everybody I'm lolly, joined a few days ago and this is my first post so please bear with me!
We are a couple from Wakefield and have been visiting Calis since 1997, staying with our friends Talip and Nesrin at Ten Aparts.
We have just booked to fly out again in June to celebrate hubby's big 40!! but we are having withdrawalls. Does anyone know of a turkish restaurant in the Leeds area? There is only so much turkish food (cooked by me) that Dean will endure. Plus our supply of raki is running desperately low any ideas where we can buy some more before June?
Cheers for being patient!
Lolly x

Hi lollly
Welcome to the forum.
I'm sure there's a thread on here somwhere regarding Turkish restaurants in UK.
If you use the search facility you should find it.  Whether or not it's near Leeds is another matter though.
Good luck :D

Cheers for the link Anne but it looks like the nearest 1 is York and at the moment its too cold to venture out that far! Looks like the cook book will get some more hammer (and the raki!!!!)
