Deceased bank account issue

Hello all. As some of you know, my Husband Paz died last year. Cut a long story short, we have a joint debit card account that has been "frozen" since his death. I have been to Turkey with Death Certificate etc and taken to bank but am being told that I have to go to tax office, solicitor..etc. I am living in the UK. Does anyone know the procedure please. I am not getting much help from the bank and at my wits end with the whole situation. Thank you

Send a message to Inspector. He'll be able to point you in the right direction.
