Post by: loz on December 26, 2012, 18:20:40 PM
I was going through some old post of member Tribalelder, has has some very interesting post, funny, amusing and many informative.  The following link is from 2007 February.
The start of Building the now established shopping area.  If you have time to go through some of his postings be prepared to be amused or informed.

I don't know if I said to you in May Loz, or indeed whether we saw you again after this - we met Brian (Tribalelder) during our week's visit this year. We were leaving the Sunday market and Toky called us over into Cafe Pazar where she was getting well p***ed. At our table a little later I turned round to the road side and there walking along was Brian - or at least it looked like him. We stared at each other from a distance and I said "I am sure that is Tribalelder" - he just stared straight through me, enough to entirely convince me it wasn't him, and he carried on walking past.

Then he turned right into Cafe Pazar and came over to say hi and have a chat.

Mr and Mrs Elder - two great people who retirement in Fethiye was tailored for - I do hope we can see more of him on the forum in future.

I never had the pleasure of meeting him, and to think we were neighbours for all those years, yet I enjoyed his postings.  I understand (maybe wrong) didn't they sell and return to the UK?

They returned to the UK for family reasons, not entirely sure if they sold or not.

Yes they sold up and yes they were here during this Summer. Barrie and I spoke to them and had a good catch up.
