Title: Hi there, everyone
Post by: Cardiffcity25 on June 22, 2014, 00:15:45 AM
My name is Glenys and I live in Cardiff, S. Wales. My dad purchased a property in Calis over 4 years ago now and can't wait to come out on the 25th July. This will be our 4th consecutive visit.  I have a question - where, oh where can I buy a decent bottle/glass of Rose Wine - without paying the earth ?  I would usually buy white zinefadel but can't find anything close, that is on the sweeter side. All of the Rose seems to be really dry. Any ideas, tips or advice ?

Hi Cardiffcity25, and welcome

If I were looking for rose wine, I would get it from Morrisons, Tesco, Sainsbury etc. in a box and pack it in my hold luggage.  There will be people on here who are better informed on that subject than I am however.  ;D

Welcome to CBF.
Try Kipa, we bought a quite drinkable Rose in there for my daughter in law, as she only drinks Rose wine.

Agreed, good advice - but even better, buy one in duty free and you don't lose 3kg off your baggage allowance  :)

About local rose wine I can't help I'm afraid - I only like red and white.

Lal is fairly sweet , well the medium side of dry as we found out to our cost being very dry wine drinkers. Don't think it's too dear either.
