Title: Back for a second time

 Coming back to Calis 5th Aug for a second visit. We will be staying at the Golden Moon Hotel which seems to have good reviews  :)
Looking on the map it looks pretty near to the beach is this true? Also my husband really loves Pide :D can anyone recommend a really nice
Pide place?

It is very close, two minutes across the bridge and you are on the beach.

My favourite place for Pide in Calis is the Alo 24 restaurant, which is away from the seafront at the back of Kipa (Calis Branch) on the Sunday market road.  There are other places nearer, but they make the best IMO in the area.  They also do a very nice soup, which is accompanied by cheesey mattress bread, chillis and rocket  mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm  ;)

Nope deffo IMO.  As to say otherwise suggests that I have a dishonest opinion to give too, well that's what I think IMHO anyway  ;)  ;)

My favourite pide place is also Alo 24. Try mince meat and egg one.

No Cenk it has to be the chicken and cheese   ;) ..... and the lahmacun is very good too at Alo24.

All this talk of food, in particular bread based products is doing me no good, as I am supposed to be on a diet at the moment :( :(

Thanks Cenk if you say good then must be good as i'm sure you have tried many. Thanks usedbustickets i love Lahmacun so i trust your honest opinion   ;)

Think you will be more worried about the heatwave than the food.  I am reading on F.B. that the locals are all melting with the excess heat.

Got back from Calis last week after another lovely holiday. Would like to give the Golden Moon Hotel a mention as our stay there
was very enjoyable thanks to Mete & Tugba (Hotel Manager). The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Rooms cleaned,towels changed daily and nothing too much trouble. Would definately stay there again. Yes Jacqui Calis was boiling!  8)

It's starting to cool down now, with temperatures in the shade peaking at 33c rather than around 37-38c last week.... ;)

We was thinking of returning to the Golden Moon for our stay, instead decided to stay at Club E. Both hotels to be good in my view, although the staff at Club E were brilliant. I must say, that good that we have booked already to return next August again
