Does anyone have any recommendations for a solicitor in the Çalış/Fethiye area who could take care of a property purchase, a title check and other things, such as making sure the seller is the owner, the property on the tapu is the one being sold, the tapu transfer and other paperwork, etc? :)
(Edit) Ah sorry! I just found Özlen's contact info in another topic, I will contact her unless anybody has any other recommendations.

All you're asking for is within the scope of any decent emlak, who will most likely have carried out these checks a lot more often than a solicitor and will charge an awful lot less. In addition, I suspect you've got a "UK head" on when you think by using a solicitor you'll somehow be better "protected".
Anyway, if you want to go down that road, Şule Beder - bederlaw@gmail.com is a no nonsense competent lawyer. She is our lawyer in Fethiye and over the years we've found her to be excellent. One or two others on CBF use her as well I believe...

Sule or Ozlen, end of list.

Sule for us everytime :)
-
Sule Beder, without a doubt, she did ours and was excellent.

Used Ozlen Ozergin, did an excellent job in supporting us when buying property..

Sule does it what it says on the can, not cheap, but gets good results. Speaks excellent English and a no nonsense sort of person which is just what you need in a solicitor over here.

Thank you all, for the references, and also the advice!

I have no experience with property (http://www.spammingcroatia.com/12-rpl-property-listing-71.html) purchase.. Is property purchase without solicitor big risk.. Is it possible at all?

Majority of conveyancing in Turkey is done without using a solicitor - estate agents usually have more experience in carrying out the required checks.
