There is a rather nasty 'scam' going round where you may receive a message from someone in your contact list to go to a website link. On arrival there it is a site that tells you they can show you who has blocked you on Messenger.
First things it asks for are your Messenger sign in and password. DO NOT DO THIS! It will not work and gives full access to your MSN messenger to a complete stranger.
Once they have access they send the message to all you contacts, who then hand over their details and so it goes on. Later they use it to send anything they like to you via your friend/contact's account.
Remember, because of the way it works, this message will seemingly come from someone you know (because they are in your list) - it doesn't mean they sent it, and they probably have no idea.
