Can anyone confirm that you can live well in Calis on £500 GBP per month, surely not!!! :o :o

Hi De,

Yep.  It actually says (I'm quoting from memory now so bare with me) £400 per month which will let you eat out once a week and includes a few beers (or something like that).
All it doesn't say is whether this is per person or per couple.

yes De I was thinking the same thing although I won't get mine until I'm 63yrs and 4 months and I'm only 51 at the moment but I intend claiming my holiday home in Turkey now - while I have a chance!

I think we should gather all the forum members together that are moving across to Calis and then ask the government for a rebate of all our National Insurance Contributions along with a pension payable immediately on account of the fact that we are not going to be a liability for the country going forward[?] 8) :):D

I've just seen a pig flying outside with big yellow spots on it:P ;)
