Rebin Beach vs Mutlu
« on: February 09, 2011, 14:08:01 PM »
Anyone stayed in both and have any opinions? We have stayed for last 2 years at Rebin Beach and found it excellent value for money, clean, good food, nice pool and garden, and for my trip is £100 less on half board than Mutlu on B&B. (Looked at both on www.travelrepublic.co.uk )

But, would be lovely to have a balcony to watch the sunset from!

Question is is it worth £100 more plus about another £100-£150 (£250 in total more) for food and drink costs??

I have twice stayed at the Mutlu. Very pleasant hotel with lovely pool in a garden but rooms somewhat smallish. The second time we were there, having breakfast in the restaurant at the front of the hotel almost on the prom, we saw two dolphins swimming past. How much is that worth?

In answer to the question you asked, I would say yes. But I also hate HB  :)

I usually do too, but the food is pretty good at the Rebin, and it works out so cheap, half board only costs me about £10 per day so if we decide to eat out at night not losing much! When you look at £500 for both us for 18 nights half board against £600 B&B the better Hotke needs to be a big difference not a small one!  :) (Retiring soon so watching my wonga!) But would be so nice for wee wifey there!

(I could stay in a tent, with Efes on tap of course!)
