After a terrific day out yesterday at Mabie Farm park near Dumfries,I tried to load the pictures from my digital camera into my computer.Easy.No way.Windows7 refused to respond at all.Tried eerything.Zilch.Eventually found that when both were connected and going via Computer,I found the photos.I had to save them to a new file.I also found old photos, previously uploaded to my computer, and thereafter deleted from the camera, were back in the camera :o.Forgot to say I downloaded new drivers from sony after Autoplay didn't respond.

thats one reason i never bother with camera software. I just use a card reader, when plugged in it just pops up asking what you want to do with the pictures, i.e. print or transfer them off.

much easier if you have more than one camera also, and for mobiles, if I installed our 2 camera's software and our mobile phone software for transfering things off once in a sheffield flood I'd have 4 lots of software clogging my machine up

No,I didn't try deleting the old ones first.I thought that one of windows awful updates that kept crashing my compiuter was responsible. I think from now on I'll be doing as ukchris suggested.
