Broken Camera, Camera shop needed!

Hi,

Can anyone help, I have dropped my camera and would like to try and get it fixed, can anyone suggest a good camera shop in Calis/Fethiye area?

you may have to send it off to Istanbul... check for your camera model service centres on line - good luck

In my experience here they don't have the technology or expertise so it'
s really hit and miss!!! x

That's exactly right Linda. I sent my Canon to Istanbul for repair.

Once you find the contact details for the service centre - its worth ringing them first - send them the camera with a letter to explain what is wrong and include a mobile phone number and your return address.

Use one of the cargo companies to send your camera.

The service centre will give you a quote which you will probably have to phone them for.

When you agree the price which will almost certainly be less than any repair in the UK they will carry out the work.

When its ready you send them the money (by PTT or online) and they will return it to you.

You may need the assisstance of someone who speaks Turkish.
