After installing Win7 over Vista,I noticed that the pop up window when connecting a portable device did not appear and all sorts of problems occurred when trying to transfer photos from digi camera to computer.Microsoft gave the usual pallaver,until ,yesterday,I found a Microsoft Autoplay repair site on the internet.Downloaded it.Viola.It works
:)Window appears when any external device is connected and asks what you want to do.Problem solved.
