We will be in the area all weekend for a wedding but free to shop & go around on sunday mainly hence asking what shops are open on a Sunday? We will be looking for a soba/furniture (also second hand) supermarkets (i guess will be open) and clothes shops. We havent been there on a sunday and my husband tells me everything will be shut but i just wanted to check in advance as then i have backup!

Clothes shops & supermarkets open, but not furniture / household goods shops

Main Sunday market in Calis selling the usual household wares & clothes.

Most of the "tourist" clothes shops are still open on the high street & the Calis prom, some are offering "up to" 50% discount

just to add does anyone know where sells decent maternity wear?

If you have something you really like one of the tailors could copy it for you. LC Waikiki have some maternity wear - not sure I've seen any elsewhere but then it's not something that would be on my mind when shopping :-)

i didnt even know LC Waikiki did mat wear, there is one in Mugla but didnt know there was one in fethiye? interesting idea about taylor....i should make myself really then as i once knew how ;-) just being lazy as one doesnt tend to be arsed when morning sickness takes hold ;-(

There is a lovely lady tailor (seamstress) in Calis. She is almost next door to the Orient Hotel, 1/2 way between the Aquapark & the main cross roads on the same side as the Aquapark. She made my g/f a lovely trouser suit last week, fitted to perfection for the grand sum of 40tl!

There is a maternity wear shop on the one way system on the opposite side of the road to the HSBC bank and a little further along going away from the paspatur. There are sometimes window models on show with maternity outfits on.
