Abusing Communal Electric

What is the best way to deal with a neighbour (renting apartment in block), who has had their own electric cut off, so now they are plugging in an extension lead into the communal electric?  In England to answer is easy, but in Turkey I know things appear to be different.  Thanks

If they are renting Maybe the first thing to do would be contact the owner of the apartment (if known) and give them a chance to act.If this fails speak to them and kindly ask them to stop doing it .

I would have a word with the man himself first. As you said he is a renter and the problem may be beyond his control and he just wants a bit of electric until the problem is resolved. If you are happy for him to do that in the short term and you think he is using it safely, you could suggest he contributes to the cost.

I cant think of another innocent/reasonable use of it, so if hes taking the Pee, contact the owner. I would like to think that would be the end of it, if not , then AYDEM.

Or as Stoop said if you have a manager, he could have a word if you do not want to confront the man yourself.

Yes, have thought about cutting plug, or at least my other neighbour has.  Contacting the owner- we tried, but failed...any ideas?
