Tonight Boxing
« on: November 23, 2013, 10:49:12 AM »
Big fight tonight. Froch vs Groves.  I have followed Groves for a while now and think hes a good fighter and future world champion but wish he was not the mandatory fighter. I think he s good but Froch i feel is a step up too far at this stage. Froch has been in with the best in the super middleweight division over the past few years and only lost twice and revenged one with a great display over kessler a good champion also. So the old war horse against the young pretender.I fancy Froch in 6 or 7 rounds stoppage or knockout!  On sky tv tonight approx 10 pm. One to watch if your a boxing fan.

Check this out for a bit of boxing fun.

The governing boxing bodys ie WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO etc have all the fighters graded. If a belt is on the line and your graded next in line then you become the mandatory fighter .  Most fighters are trying to get up the rankings and by beating opponents ranked higher than you means you go up the rankings and hopefully end up fightjng for a title.  Groves has 19 fights unbeaten and became mandatiry fighter. Froch had to fight him or give up his belt. I hope i explained it properly.
