All I hope for is that the long waited Report (7 years for God sake) holds to account those who are responsible for the situation the world finds itself in today.

I think the report will be a wash over of the true facts and a no blame, no accusation load of words from which nothing will come.
The only winner here will be Chilcot himself, financially.

Well half hour to go before we finally get it. I don't expect any shocks, but do expect a partial whitewash of events. I hope I am wrong but all the way through this long investigation Chilcott has shown himself to be the establishments man, look at the unnecessary delays and the extra mile he has gone to protect the various establishment figures, especially Blair ..... so don't be surprised if the whole thing turns out to be a disappointing damp squib. With stories and facts buried in too much detail of a ridiculously long report, which is always a good sign that the establishment have got their way in any 'independent' report.

Tony Blair was a very very naughty boy and if we ever have to involve ourselves again in someone else's war, we should jolly well check our facts before sending our chaps there to get needlessly killed.
Any other questions available that we can waste £10 million on finding an answer on?

Well, it doesn't look to be the whitewash that many were expecting. Quietly devastating to the claims Blair et al have made. They clearly mislead a lot of people. Those criticised in the report are going to be spending a lot of time with defence lawyers. Sounds like basis for a lot of claims. Huge praise for the Armed Forces.

It has come out with a lot of information that leads to finger pointing towards Blair, but without any overall condemnation of him. And it has dodged any conclusion on legality of the war. Other than that it looks to be - based on early evaluation by others - a comprehensive report of what was said to the commission, even if it did take far to long to get to the final report stage.

"The report should lay to rest allegations of bad faith, lies or deceit." (Tony Blair, today).
What did he do? Read the report upside down? Only he and few of his tainted cronies could possible say this (I doubt they believe it).
The Guardian's reading was "Chilcot delivers damning verdict on Tony Blair". Yep, that corresponds to what I heard Chilcot say this morning.

Listened to the Blair interview with John Humphrys on this morning's Today programme on Radio 4. For someone who is usually an accomplished performer on TV/Radio/Platform he was awful this morning. Humphrys faced him up with the major points and unsurprisingly on most he did not answer or failed to present a reasonable response. Got to say that he was always on to a hiding for nothing, so I was surprised that he has come out so early with his response, not sure he has done himself any good with either the timing of this interview or his response. Time will tell with the king of the snake oil salesman, but lets not forget that huge numbers of people supported the war on Iraq ... and they are keeping a very low profile.
Having said that Ann Clwyd believes that it was the right thing to do, not sure where she has been since the war ended, but she seems to think that all that has gone on since the end of the war was a price worth paying to get rid of Madman Hussien. And I see that Claire Short popped up on the TV yesterday to give her side of events. That woman has more front than Blackpool given her (temporary) backing for Blairs war!
Anyone heard from Gorgeous George Galloway ? I'm sure he has something to say....
