Hi All,
I'm interested to know how people get on with banking when back home in the UK.
I've never managed very well to get Finansbank working as with a Turkish number, the auth texts don't seem to come through when abroad and the same goes for the UK mobile numbers. I've not tried the mobile apps and wonder if these are any better?
It might be that other banks have better solutions for foreign bankers?
Thanks!

Never had a problem with either Finans or Garanti using both desktop and mobile app. Sounds like international roaming isn't set up properly on your Turkish SIM which would explain the lack of SMS's. Never tried Finans with a foreign number but in the past OH used Garanti with her UK number.

I use Finans in the UK both on a PC and my UK mobile via their android app. We've only ever used a UK mobile on the account and have been using it like this for the past 10 or so years.

Thanks for the replies all.
Sounds like it should work either with a turkish number or a UK number on Finansbank.
When using the UK number, I wonder whether it could be related to the carrier - I'm currently with Vodafone - is anyone using the Finansbank with Vodafone UK and managing?
Garanti sounds like a good option otherwise!

I have wet up mobile banking with Garanti but the app has updated and it's asking me to log in again and I can't remember password. I'm in the UK and need to access it can I reset from here any had to do this before.
