Title: FAX Machine ???

Is it cheaper to buy a fax machine when I get to Turkey? or is it cheaper to buy one here and take it over?......I need to be in  touch with my business when I am away from it.........

It's probably cheaper to buy one over there. If you take one with you and declare it you'll pay tax on it.

I'm sure they are as cheap, if not cheaper in Turkey and they have the right electric plug on also.

Hi Samantha,

Ever thought of simply using fax software?

You install it on your PC and leave your PC switched on.  When a fax comes in your PC answers the call (exactly the same as a fax machine would) but instead of printing the blury pages it stores them and prints them when you want them.
The software also allows you to send faxes.  You select the document you want to send, enter the phone number and press send - similar to sending an email.
Much cheaper then a fax machine, takes up no room AND it stores your faxes electronically.

You know what Glen? I've got fax software on my lappie and I keep forgetting it !

When someone suggests faxing me something I always say I haven't got fax so you'll have to email! Doh doh doh!!!! LOLOL

Well from one KRAB to another, I am as slow as you my comp and laptop have fax facilities stored, so I shall probably do what glen suggested......its all this SUN talk it makes you forget things....and age aswell....LOL

I nearly put that one chip.....:D....but left it for a bloke to put it!!!!!.....

Well my first T Shirt I shall get printed will be.........
