We got married the beginning of this year and I have now changed my passport to my married name. Our property/tapu is in both our names but of course it is my maiden name. Is it necessary to get the tapu changed? Our solicitor is translating the marriage certificate into Turkish at the moment so would it be enough to keep that with any documents with my maiden name on to prove I am the same person named?
