Title: vehicle testing requirements from 19/12/2011

has anybody recently taken someone elses vehicle to the testing station and encountered any problems? i have just read on the tuv site that the rules have changed since 19/12/2011 and the vehicle must be presented by the owner or named person on the rhusat and will be checked.i know google translate isnt marvelous but it also says if this is not correct the traffic police will be called to the station !!!

did friends car as they are in uk at mo on 19th jan,i booked it on internet using his name and kimlik no,they didnt ask to see any other id ,so they assumed i was he!
