Does somebody know the price of a green card insurance for a car with Turkish plates ? Is the "guy in front of Eren (Erin?) shop" (see "Green card" on this page, in the forum) still selling green cards ? Are there other places in Fethiye where these green cards are sold ?

Your own insurers should be able to supply you with a green card.

The problem is that my own insurer (Citroen garage insurance in Günlükbasi) is unable to provide me with a green card, he's telling me to take it at the border (Turkish side) but I would like to have it in Fethiye.

Makes me wonder whether he's pulling the wool over your eyes then. They won't be insuring you themselves. They'll just be acting as agents for an insurance company OR you're not properly insured. What's the insurer's name on your policy ?
You CAN buy Green Card cover at the border but it's far more expensive than getting it through your insurer, plus you have to make sure you're at the border when the offices are fully manned, otherwise it can take a couple of hours.

The boss of Citroen garage is dealing whith his brother in Denizli who is an insurance broker.
I have the Turkish compulsory insurance with MAPFRE Genel Sigorta and an extra "Citroen Kasko" with AK Sigorta.
They can make a foreign extension for the "Kasko" but no green card...

I've just checked out Mapfre's website and it clearly says on there that they are able to issue Green Cards which are valid in 45 countries. You can find it under the heading. MAPFRE GENEL SiGORTA, Yeşil Kart Sigortası.
