I posted on here yesterday and its gone where i dont know .I want to know if the lady who does the knitting in uzumlu is still about if so where abouts is she  thanks.

If you mean the lady that used to knit the dolls, she went back to England 2 or 3 years ago. Phil

Thanks phill dont know if that was her i thought she was turkish ,somesaid you could watch working working she had a big sewing machine in the window ,thanks anyway ,does anyone know someone who knits jumpers .

The lady you mean Lance is almost directly opposite the Winehouse, open house for anyone who wants to wander in & watch her work.

Lance, Most of the women in the village have got looms for making Dastar, which as Scunner says is more lacy, perhaps if you asked them they would make you a lacy jumper!!!  Phil

There is a little shop in the square by the Mosque where the lady has knitted items.
