St Patricks Annual Leprechaun hunt. Sunday 16th March. Starting at Uzumlu High School at 2.00 pm
For the second time Uzumlu ramblers are getting together with Fethiye Hash House Harriers to organize a search for the Leprechauns around the valley. Following last years very successful hunt when no Leprechauns were actually caught (although it was rumoured that several were spotted ;)) we believe that this year the Little fellows have moved further across the valley and have been seen near the High School. This means that the hunt will be on much flatter terrain than last year and so easier for walking :). This year the Fethiye Hash Hash harriers are raising money for a donation to the Childrens Cancer Unit at Izmir Hospital so please come and join us for a fun afternoon and help to support this worthwhile cause.
As usual after the walk there will be a special menu with an Irish theme at Eddy O'Erguns Irish bar in the village with a bit of a Hooley afterwards. This special event is open to all even if you don't walk so please book early if you want to eat at Eddys.
PS Is this the cheapest Efes in the area? As a result of constant nagging by several villagers Eddy has agreed to reduce the price of Draught Efes to 5ytl every Monday in March starting next week. ;D

As there has been some confusion in and around the village as to when the St Patricks Leprechaun hunt is taking place. Yes (being Irish) I know that St Patricks day is 17th March but to accomodate a lot of people taking part the organizers decided to have the hunt on Sunday 16th.
So see you all at the High School on Sunday at 2.00pm
