Post by: charlste on October 03, 2019, 12:29:30 PM
Can you buy an evisa using a credit card?

Yes. Visa and Mastercard are accepted. Make sure you only use the official government site though. Other sites will cost you more.

I am thinking of closing my nationwide account which i normally use to buy the evisa.
I will probably use my halifax clarity or starling card to buy evisa.

I went to Side last month and had lost my visa that I got in May, fortunately if you go on to the website then status it allows you to print off your visa again, just thought it might help others knowing this.

When applying for an Evisa do you still receive a confirmation email please?
I did my husband’s Saturday and no email still so I’m thinking maybe you don’t get one any more?

Yes with a Approve button which you must respond to within one hour otherwise visa is cancelled.

No - you should have received an email like this

If not then I don't think you have a visa :(

I got that email and when I click on it on the green approve bit it says your application was successful and payment is done (words to that effect ) then where it says download your visa it’s all there re the info, it also says a confirmation email has also been sent that is the email I haven’t received...
So I’m none the wiser thank you Highlander for your help   :)

In any event you will need a printed copy.

Can you explain the process please suzyq - I did try but didn't get very far :(

At the bottom of the screen on the left hand side it says ongoing application. Click on this and it asks for your email address, passport number and visa reference, if you don’t know the visa reference just leave it blank. It then tells you if you if you have a successful visa application and you can download another copy if needed. Or just type turkish evisa status in search engine and it brings the page up. Hope that is okay
