No not Turkish people.......but seen in the Canal near the Tuesday market this week.
A snake swimming upstream about one & a half metres long, battleship grey with brown diamond shaped markings on the sides.
Also swimming upstream a greyish eel about a metre long
And last night where the canal goes under the road to enter the sea there is a platform of bottles, debris and all sorts of rubbish....we had stopped to comment about the rubbish collected there and noticed (Look away if you are squeamish!)....it was swarming with rats:(
