Saoirse  -  i think at one time, if you wanted a beer they would run to either the wine house or the restuarant opposite and bring one back for you....

Thanks for that info Phil. Yet another example of Turks 'shooting themselves in the foot' imo. That was a great meeting point/ chill out place for ALL - Brits and Turks. Turks drink alcohol and I'm sure the owners made an ok living form the cafe/bar. Oh well, 3 years here and still have not the faintest idea what makes this place tick!!!!!!!!!

Only so much tea you can drink ! I'm afraid this is all about village politics. Umit and Tallin are trying a new venture in Calis - I wish them well. So short sighted of the powers that be.....!

Just got back from our first visit to the new cafe/bar the Grape Gardens and what a lovely place it is. Friendly and inviting can't wait to go back and make full use of the lovely garden they have for summer drinks.
Good luck to Mehmet and Laura it's great to have another nice place to visit.

I'm not totally sure on location Saoirse - but not on prom. so I think on the main drag leading towards the water taxi bridge. They are leasing what used to be an agency office.
