Transport Secretary Philip Hammond told the Sunday Times there should be an "economic penalty for service failure".

What a superb idea. One question though. Would Mr Hammond consider a rebate on peoples taxes for "service failure" in not keeping the roads to the airports open.

Would be nice if it went back into the passengers' pockets:D  Not likely though.  And probably find flight prices go up 'just in case'.
