An all time maestro, certainly part of the soundtrack of my yoof and beyond, through a string of great LPs, and gawd knows how many fantastic singles taken off them.

Sod it ... this thread has prompted me that this is no time for reflecting completely on the music of Bowie from my yoof.  I'm going to splash the cash on his recent work, and see if he has still got it.  Although I rather suspect that he has...

Last thing I bought of his was Heathen in 2002 (I think he has only released one more "Reality" in 2003), Heathen was outstanding in my opinion. :D

I would also recommend a double CD I stumbled across several years ago called "Bowie at the Beeb", some real old archive live tracks complete with pre song interviews by the great John Peel.
