Hearing aid shops
« on: February 28, 2012, 16:40:41 PM »
Does anyone know if there is a hearing aid shop in Fethiye? Nothing urgent but it would be nice to know if (as hapened in Portugal last Oct)the wife ;) forgets to pack my batteries.

I managed to find a shop over there by using google maps and free sat nav but don't think I will have that facility in Turkey.

Barrie got his digital hearing aids from Acil medikal on the back road coming out of Fethiye. Price was very good but even slight repairs are expensive. He get the batteries there but not really cheap. In an emergency we buy packs of cheap batteries from the pound shops. They are about  1 tl per 12 on a packet. They only last about a day but I would advise you to bring out a box of batteries  from specsavers *yes they do hearing aids" and leave them at your place.
