The point has been made, and understood by the owner.

Just back from Shaka.
The food. the service and the background music was as good as always.
I checked the bill carefully and had to ask for CBF discount to be deducted.... it was done so immediately.
No complaints from me tonight.
It was a good night.

This is just my way of saying that this is a good restaurant but the owner should not ignore the problems raised earlier on this thread.

Me and my wife ate there on saturday evening. The food and service were excellent as was the live music which was a mix of turkish and english songs. This is the third time we have eaten at shaka and have never had reason to complain.I am sure that mistakes will and do happen but as long as they are resolved at the time to a satisfactory end I do not feel that its necessary to call anyone rip off merchants. There are plenty of places that when a problem is pointed out to them with the bill or a meal they get defensive, rude and angry. These places deserve the title or rip off expert.

Hi, we went again tonight (midweek) and there was live music. A very good soloist musician 'James Blunt' style. Once again we had a superb meal with friendly and polite service.
