I think £425 per month with all bills is
A good price for a 3 bed house.

Treacle, be careful with the fireplace.  A lot are just for decoration and not fit for purpose.  Our neighbour rented out his place, someone lit a fire downstairs  and the bedroom wall caught fire.  So, have the fireplace checked out before you rent.

Hi Lotty and Davybill.  To be honest we were gutted not to be coming to Fethiye, and we do miss Turkey, so much so, my lovely friend from Akbuk in Turkey has come over to pick me up and dust me down. It was all down to the changes in the residency, and as it was due to expire at the end of May, we didn't have much time to get our head around it, so having lira in the bank, TRNC seemed the best option. TRNC isnt as scenic as Turkey, and I keep saying where is the prom/kordon, and where are the shopping malls/outlets... there are none. Although Kyrenia is beautiful, but that is a drive away. You really need a car here, as we don't have many buses, five times a day to our village from Kyrenia/Girne, but, that said, all the locals are really welcoming and very helpful, and there is a lot of support for the British here in the way of various groups ie Cyprus citizens advise and British residents society. We have actually decided we could have a couple of months a year in Fethiye, which is very much on our hit list now, so you may see us there next year.  So maybe my next post will be, does anyone have a place for a couple of months.  Sue xx
