Warm welcome in Uzumlu
« on: December 31, 2013, 09:26:27 AM »
Just like to say thanks for the warm welcome we received the last two weeks in Uzumlu.
We were there to purchase property and the friendlyness we encountered kept us sane during the process.

Happy New Year to you all

Sue and Hugh

Yes, the hoods came with the house. And as soon as I can figure out how to light the woodburner, we will be dancing round it.
But seriously scunner, the trick was, not to sit outside the Winehouse and watch the world not going by, but to sit at the Dolmus stop, and watch the people getting on and off.

Sorry Phil. I was as surprised as you that the group didn't take off up there!
