Menthol, you need to go to the 3c's Charity Auction.  There is a lovely man who paints pictures and donates to the Auction.  i am sure you would find something you like.

I can suggest art of the Carol Bostan style - absolutely brilliant. Here's possibly my fave:

I bought a set of six Victorian colour prints of Turkey in a local Scottish Auction They were circa 1860 I got them for £25.00.  The frames were a bit tatty.  I took them out of the frames and put them in my suitcase on my next Turkish visit.  I then took the to the Zenap the Picture Framer in the one way street in Fethiye and I picked suitable frames and got the guy to re-frame them for me.  So, cheap and he made a lovely job of them.  I have them in our place in Calis now.
I can highly recommend this picture framer.  We looked for a mirror for over the fireplace in our place in Calis and could not find one.  We went to Zenap, picked a lovely frame and he cut a mirror to size, framed it and then delivered it to us.

Zenap has some great pictures in his gallery as well Menthol...on the back road coming out to Fethiye.. That's if you can find a parking space   Carol does some excellent paintings in all different styles.. She may well be at The Spring fair as will other artists I am sure.. Plenty to spend your money on their for your new place.. That's if you are there for it of course..
