TTnet
« on: February 05, 2014, 11:23:06 AM »
I went into the local TTnet shop a couple of days ago to try and sort out my low bandwidth problem. I had only just finished explaining when the guy I was talking to blurted out.
"Teknical problem , you must go to Turk Telekom office. So I said "I thought I was in their office!!"

No, this is "TTnet", you must go see them now"

With that he escorted me to the door, pointed down the road and stepped back in. Talk about the "Bum's Rush"!!

Anyway, I bimbled down to the main office near the new town square, was seen by a very nice lady who, though her English was not good managed to sort out what I was saying and after a couple of internal calls she told  that it's ok, they have doubled my bandwidth. Upon reaching the apartment I checked and I am indeed receiving almost 2mg instead of the .90 that I had before. I know it is nowhere near the 4Meg they offer but I felt it to be a kind of victory to get that much out of them.

So you now know just who to and who not to talk to if you have low bandwidth.

Getting 4 is simple TC, just get one of these, then go in again :D

I must admit we have a similar problem here, and phone ttnet to ask them to check our internet as the signal is poor, they have mentioned in the past we need to speak to turk telecom ( but we haven't bothered), and shortly after our conversations the signal appears boosted. We have since been told by friends that despite being on unlimited internet ttnet have a fair usuage policy, and if you are using more than.... What ever it is, I can't remember, then they knock back/reduce whatever it is... Sorry about the lack of technical speak, but I haven't the foggiest idea about all this internet  talk lol. Sue xx
