Drugs. When we left Manchester my bag was diverted for checking.  He went over it with some sort of wand thing which he then rubbed over some paper.  When I asked what the problem was, he said 'we are checking to see if it contains drugs or has been in touch with drugs, we do a random check'.  Needless to say it was clean.
