Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I found Efes  Pilsner Beer in Lidl's today, £1.49p per 50cl bottle.

We have seen it in a few supermarkets including Tesco. However, Phil says it never tastes the same in the U.K.

It's a bit like having fish and chips in Turkey. It does not taste the same as in a murky wet UK.

That's because you lived there and got used to it.   Phil always says there is nothing like his first Efes when we get to Turkey.  However, he would not drink it at home.  Peroni, is his favourite at the moment.
