sewing machines to turkey
« on: August 14, 2015, 10:56:06 AM »
Hi
has anybody any experience of importing a couple of sewing machines to turkey . Ones a standard machine e and one is an overlocker, both used for hobbycraft purposes. Fairly recent acquisitions.
Indicated duty on a "duty" site indicate +9%+8% on the machine ( cost+carriage+shipping).
Am I talking through my flip flops?

Will they fit in a suitcase...?

Otherwise, you need to find the HS code (Harmonised Tariff Schedule), then get a hold of the latest import duty rates for Turkey and work it out from there.  Then add on shipping and processing fees.  All easily Googleable  :)

So...  will they fit in a suitcase?

I bought dozens of items out for our place. The biggest were a dehumidifier and a music centre.         :)
