Best to go into your Bank and ask Karen. Alternatively, draw money from the Nationwide card and pay your bills.

Use the Aka Bank machine in the Main Street near the exchange shop, they pay out in Sterlng.  The machine does not charge you, it is your bank that charge you to draw money. Talkin crap again Jacqui. AKbank do not charge you and if you have a Flex account Nationwide do not charge you to draw sterling. Halifax clarity likewise.

Yes we always use AKBank for Sterling with our NW card. No charges.

Allso got a Revolut card now which is ace.

Just paid our timeshare fees in Portugal. Last few years I’ve used Credit card and always got charged about £17-£20 in exchange fees.

This year I decided to deposit enough Sterling into the Revolut account, then watched the Euro exchange rate until I was ready to pay, then converted the £ to € and saved myself £20 in fees.

Great little card for holiday use too. We never once used the exchange shops in Portugal last October as I got a better rate with my card. Just added Sterling then converted to Euros then either paid by card in euros or took cash out.
