Yippee, I got my £500.00 back that I had paid for my flights & seats that I lost early October. Thank you Santander Bank, paid by Debit too  :)  :)  :)  :)

Me too! Have got back my £540 for Monarch flights. Had a letter waiting for me when we got home on Sunday. Quick work Nationwide!    :)

I got £755 back from Paypal for two return flights booked for May 2018 and one for Sept 2018. I was initially unsure how Paypal handled this kind of thing so I was very relieved when it was sorted http://calis-beach.co.uk/forum/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif

From experience, PayPal are far more pro active when it comes to customer disputes/refunds than most credit card companies.  They often get bad press online over a variety of issues, but having had an account for a long time I can honestly say I've never had an issue.
