Name change with Turkish Airlines

We have a booking for 4 passengers with Turkish Airlines flying from Heathrow. Unfortunately 1 passenger will not be travelling and I wanted to do a name change but this is proving impossible. Has anybody managed to find a solution to this dilemma or is it best to just turn up at the airport with a no show and make a separate booking for an additional passenger.

I don't recall anyone finding it "impossible" in the past

I'm fairly sure THY don't allow a "name change" other then to correct mis-spellings, you need to apply for a refund and rebook - although depending on the ticket type this may not be possible either.  Pretty common practise with major airlines.  The budget carriers seem a bit more flexible in this respect.

I think you are right so do we just check in and say one is a no show.
