EasyJet payout
« on: September 05, 2018, 18:22:47 PM »
Our son, and the other seven in the party who expierienced an eight hour delay from Bodrum in June have just received £360.00 each in compensation
It took a few e mails & phone calls but they are happy   :)

Good to hear Geoff.  So many now seem to receive nothing

Easyjet are very good, when they know they are at fault they pay up very quickly.  We only had a 5 hour delay a year or so back but we got £700 put in our bank account within 2 weeks, we were very impressed.

I must admit I found Easyjet very helpful just after my father died. We had to change our flights because of the funeral, we paid the difference and then e-mailed customer services to explain the situation, and within half a day they replied. 2 days later we had been refunded.

We had to spend 7.5 hours in the Tennents Bar at Glasgow Airport because of a delay with Thomson/TUI - we got 400€ each, which was fine compo for missing a part of the first day.

We went through the claim system on the MSE site - it works and you pay nothing in fees, you get 100% of the payout. Highly recommended.
